TRAVIS are to release their first new material in over a year this autumn with a brand new single ‘LOVE WILL COME THROUGH’, NME.COM can reveal.

The track will only be available to buy as a download from Travis website, with proceeds going to the Spinal Injuries Association.

The band decided on the fundraiser after drummer Neil Primrose fractured vertebrae in his back in an accident in a French swimming pool during Travis’ European tour this summer.

‘Love Will Come Through’ will be streamed online from September 6, and will be available for download from November 15.

The track will also feature in new Dustin Hoffman and Susan Sarandon film ‘Moonlight Mile’. Fans who want to own a copy before the download date will find the soundtrack album on sale in the US on September 17. The film will be released in the US on September 27.

Travis , meanwhile, are going to begin work on the follow-up to 2001’s ‘The Invisible Band’ later this year.
