Fran and the boys race across London to play Amnesty show...

TRAVIS shocked fans last night (October 17) by appearing onstage the AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL benefit gig at LONDON’s ICA just minutes after finishing their triumphant headlining show at the capital’s BRIXTON ACADEMY

The band played a short intimate set to 300 people, which included their latest single, ‘Re-offender’, new tracks ‘Beautiful Occupation’ and ‘Peace The Fuck Out’ as well as the anthemic ‘Why Does It Always Rain On Me’.

The gig, hosted by Jo Whiley, also featured performances by The Thrills, Idlewild and New York’s Scissor Sister. The event was dedicated to raising funds towards Amnesty’s International Arms Campaign which is being launched in 50 countries worldwide next month.

Taking place throughout the week (October 14 – 18), each Amnesty gig offered a mix of music, film and debate. Last night also saw the showing of the movie ‘Jamaica: Communities in the Crossfire’ and a preview of Jonas Akerlund’s film ‘Spun’.

Tonight (October 18) sees the Dreem Teem present Big Brovaz, Lemar, Nio and the film ‘Shottass’.

Travis’ Amnesty set list was:
