Nine Inch Nails main man Trent Reznor has debuted his theme tune for the new Call Of Duty video game – scroll down and click to listen.

The instrumental, five-minute track features on the soundtrack for the latest edition of the popular first-person shooter series, titled Call Of Duty: Black Ops II, which is released tomorrow (November 13).

Reznor’s side project How To Destroy Angels are also set to release their new EP, ‘An Omen’, tomorrow. The group, which is comprised of Reznor, his wife Mariqueen Maandig and his frequent collaborators Atticus Ross and Rob Sheridan, will then release a full-length album in 2013.

In September, Reznor confirmed that the band had signed a deal with major record label Columbia. Explaining the thinking behind their decision, he said: “We’ve really spent a long time thinking about things and it makes sense for a lot of reasons, including a chance to work with our old friend Mark Williams.

“There’s a much more granular and rambling answer I could give (and likely will in an interview someplace) but it really comes down to us experimenting and trying new things to see what best serves our needs. Complete independent releasing has its great points but also comes with shortcomings.”

In July of this year, meanwhile, Reznor – who has previously completed the scores for Hollywood blockbusters The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network – said he had a “finished album” he had recorded with How To Destroy Angels and also revealed that he was working on new material for Nine Inch Nails.
