ALANIS MORISSETTE and members of LIVE appear on the forthcoming album by TRICKY.
A UK spokesperson for the Bristol-born star confirmed to NME.COM this afternoon (February 12) that Tricky has been working with Morissette and Live vocalist Ed Kowalczyk during recording sessions in LA. Also rumoured to have entered the studio with Tricky is Cyndi Lauper.
As previously revealed on NME.COM, Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante, bassist Flea and singer Anthony Kiedis also feature on the new material.
It is currently unclear what the new album sounds like, although on the surface it appears to be taking a similar form to his 1996 ‘Nearly God’ project, which featured collaborations with, amongst others, Bjork, Neneh Cherry and Alison Moyet.
The as-yet-untitled album is due in summer via Epitaph in the UK.
