Troye Sivan announces UK tour for 2019

Troye's heading back to the UK...

Troye Sivan has announced that he’ll return to the UK for a handful of shows early next year.

The Australian singer will kick off at Glasgow’s O2 Academy on Saturday February 23, before following it with stop-offs in Manchester, Birmingham and London. You can check out the dates in full below and buy tickets here from 9AM on November 23.

Saturday February 23, 2019 – Glasgow, O2 Academy
Sunday February 24, 2019 – Manchester, O2 Apollo
Tuesday February 26, 2019 – Birmingham, O2 Academy Birmingham
Thursday February, 28 2019 – London, Eventim Apollo

The tour comes in support of ‘Bloom’, Sivan’s acclaimed second album. In a five-star review, NME described the record as “a deliriously upbeat statement that washes over you like a dopamine rush”.

“There is certainly something to be said for the amount of dopamine that permeates every inch of the record. Troye Sivan and other queer pop stars frequently find themselves lumped with common tags – “unapologetically out” is one clumsy term that often gets thrown about”, our review stated.

“As much as it’s often a cliché, unapologetic – or rather, completely empowered – is a mood that applies wholeheartedly to ‘Bloom’. Here, Sivan has created an album that does away with any apology; instead it sees him seize happiness with both hands.”
