Troye Sivan has covered the Post Malone track, ‘Better Now’, taken from the rappers’ recent album Beerbongs & Bentleys.
The pop star is gearing up to release his new album ‘Bloom’ on August 31, after releasing singles ‘My, My, My’, ‘The Good Side’ and the album’s title track.
Sivan’s stripped-back rendition of the song is released via his Spotify Singles sessions, which also includes a live studio version of his single ‘Bloom’. Listen to his cover of ‘Better Now’ and ‘Bloom’ below.
Meanwhile, Sivan has been teasing the release of a new video for ‘Dance To This’ – his collaborative track with Ariana Grande.
Both stars tweeted a short video which sees Sivan handing a CD to an old man, who then puts the disc on a stereo. Grande appears for a second, sat at a table by herself as Sivan prepares to sing into a microphone. The full video is expected to arrive tomorrow (July 19) at 9AM PT (5PM BST).
‘Dance To This’ is the fourth single taken from Sivan’s forthcoming album. Speaking of the collaboration, Grande wrote on Twitter: “I’m so honoured to be on this with my dear friend and pop king @troyesivan.” ‘Bloom’ follows his 2015 debut ‘Blue Neighbourhood’.
Grande also has an album coming next month – ‘Sweetener’ – due to arrive on August 17. It will feature singles including ‘No Tears Left To Cry’, ‘The Light Is Coming’, and ‘God Is A Woman’.
