The singer won't return to the TV reality show for a third year
Tulisa Contostavlos has confirmed that she won’t be a judge on the next season of The X Factor.
On her Twitter account, she wrote: “Just wanted to let you all know that I won’t be part of The X Factor panel this year… I’ve had a great time on the show, but this year it’s time to do something different… I’d like to thank everyone on The X Factor for two amazing years.”
The former N-Dubz singer joined the programme in 2011. There has been much speculation around who will feature on the judging panel this year. Louis Walsh has confirmed that he and Gary Barlow will return for the show’s 10th series. He also suggested in a recent interview that Sharon Osborne could return: “I’m sure Sharon Osborne will be back. I helped get her back, she’s great fun,” he told RTE.
Over on the US version of the show, it was confirmed yesterday that Simon Cowell has hired former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland and Mexican singer and actress Paulina Rubio as judges. They replace Britney Spears and record producer Antonio ‘LA’ Reid and will join Cowell on the panel along with pop singer Demi Lovato.
