The band released their fifth studio album ‘Seeds’ last week, plus a video for lead single ‘Happy Idiot’, which features former Doctor Who actor Karen Gillan plus Paul ‘Pee-Wee Herman’ Reubens as a racing driver suffering a mental breakdown.
Speaking to NME last month, TV On The Radio guitarist Dave Sitek revealed his interest in working with Liam Gallagher again by suggesting the singer should record solo material with him following the Beady Eye split. Sitek had previously produced the group’s second album ‘BE’.
“Liam’s hilarious, that guy really makes me laugh. And he’s super talented,” said Sitek. “I remember when he first went up to the microphone, we had no effects and it was just like, ‘wow’. He should either have a show or get back in the studio with me and we’ll make a couple of tracks for fun.”
