Twin Shadow shares new single ‘Turn Me Up’ – listen

Song is first to be heard from 2015 album 'Eclipse'

Twin Shadow has revealed new song ‘Turn Me Up’. Listen to the track below, now.

‘Turn Me Up’ is the first song to be heard from the forthcoming third album ‘Eclipse’. Twin Shadow, aka George Lewis Jr. was expected to release the album via 4AD earlier this year. However, he has since split from the independent label and signed with Warner Bros. who will release the album on March 16.

Explaining the meaning behind ‘Turn Me Up’, Lewis writes: “I think it’s important to let people take what they need from songs instead of explaining too much about what they mean for me personally. But my friends keep asking, ‘Turn me up, what’s that mean?’ I keep saying, Take more from me. Ask more of me. Give me more back. Stop fighting against the things you want the most.”

Since the release of his second album ‘Confess’, Lewis has appeared as a DJ in Grand Theft Auto V and featured on Zeds Dead’s song ‘Lost You’.
