Twisted Wheel announce split

The Manchester band revealed the news via a Twitter message which read 'RIP'

Twisted Wheel have officially split.

The Manchester indie band tweeted news of their demise, with a message which read ‘RIP’. The band wrote:

Twisted Wheel released two albums, 2009’s ‘Twisted Wheel’ and 2012’s ‘Do It Again’. The band were expected to release new material this year and were gigging until very recently, one of their last shows taking place on May 23, while a DVD of their gig at Manchester’s Kraak was released last month.


The band were due to play Liverpool Calling, which takes place later this month, alongside acts such as The Rifles and D/R/U/G/S. Paul Weller and Liam Gallagher had previously stated that they were fans of Twisted Wheel.
