Tickets for Two Door Cinema Club’s London O2 Arena gig are now on sale

Band will headline the 20,000-capacity venue on December 13

Tickets for Two Door Cinema Club‘s London O2 Arena gig have gone on sale today (August 21).

The band will headline the 20,000 capacity venue on December 13 following a number of festival appearances this summer, including dates at Glastonbury, T In The Park and last weekend’s V Festival.

Speaking to NME when the band announced the massive show last week (August 15), guitarist Sam Halliday enthused: “It doesn’t feel real yet; at the moment it feels like a dream. It’s testing the water of a new sort of show. I went to see Beyonce at the O2 recently and that show definitely fits in the O2. Then I think back to that and think of our show at the minute… We want to try and fill the stage a bit more and be confident commanding a crowd rather than just playing the songs.”

Two Door Cinema Club recently unveiled a new track called ‘Changing Of The Seasons’ produced by French teenager Madeon. It will be released as part of a three-track EP, also called ‘Changing Of The Seasons’, on September 30.

Meanwhile, the band’s frontman Alex Trimble has just put together his debut photo exhibition, a collaboration with Belfast photographer Jamie William. The exhibition, titled ‘Mustang Margaritas’, went on display today (August 21) for eight hours only at Gazelli Art House in London’s Mayfair.
