Northern Irish trio schedule second dates in Manchester and Birmingham for their 2013 UK tour
Two Door Cinema Club have added second shows at Manchester’s O2 Apollo and Birmingham’s O2 Academy to their 2013 UK tour.
The Northern Irish trio will now play the O2 Apollo on January 25 and 26 and Birmingham’s O2 Academy on February 1 and 2 as part of an 12-date tour in January and February of next year.
The band’s trek now begins at the O2 Academy in Newcastle on January 24 and runs until February 8 when the band headline London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
The run of shows also includes stops in Southampton, Nottingham, Cardiff, Birmingham, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Leeds.
The band are touring in support of their new album ‘Beacon’, which is released on September 3. The album is the follow up to 2010’s ‘Tourist History’ and was recorded in Los Angeles in April with producer Jacknife Lee (Bloc Party, U2, REM) in his home studio.
The band, who played to a huge crowd at last weekend’s Reading And Leeds Festivals, will also play next month’s Bestival on the Isle Of Wight Festival
