Two Gallants announce details of first album in five years

'The Bloom and the Blight' will be released on October 8

Two Gallants have announced the release details of their first new album since 2007’s ‘Two Gallants’.

The duo will release ‘The Bloom and the Blight’ on October 8 through Fargo Records. The San Francisco band are offering up their fourth album’s first single, ‘Broken Eyes’, as a free download at their website twogallants.com. UK live dates will be announced shortly.

Recorded at Berkeley’s Fantasy Studios and San Francisco’s Tiny Telephone studio, the album follows Adam Stephens and Tyson Vogel’s hiatus and has been produced by John Congleton.

Of the album Vogel states: “We went on different paths these past years, but I think we share a common feeling, a commitment to try to transcend what we’ve gone through… and build something stronger out of it.”
