It's the California rapper's first new solo material since the release of his acclaimed fourth studio album 'Flower Boy' last year
Tyler, the Creator has released a brand new song ‘Okra’ – watch the video for the vibrant new track below.
The song is Tyler’s first piece of new solo material since the release of his fourth studio album ‘Flower Boy’, which came out back in July 2017.
The surprise release of ‘Okra’ today (March 29) was revealed by Tyler on his Twitter account, with the artist disclosing that he made the track – which at one point shouts out Call Me By Your Name star Timothée Chalamet – back in January while he was “on some rap shit” before his recent tour with Vince Staples.
“Aand like 4 5 days ago i was like yo man i should shoot something to this and just put it out for fun and move on with my life or it’ll sit on my hard drive like alot of other things,” he wrote in explanation.

Earlier this month, Tyler cancelled his South American tour.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “Hello, I’m not coming to South America as planned anymore,” adding that the news “sucks”.
“I will be there at some point tho, sorry, I know y’all was really really looking forward to it, but, uhhh…. yeah, sometimes a duck isn’t a jean jacket… I’ll be out there one day.”
