‘Invisible’ was during this year’s Super Bowl and is part of a new partnership between Bono’s charity (RED) and Bank Of America. The song is available for for free on iTunes for 24 hours with Bank of America set to donate $1 (60p) per download of the track, up to a total of $2 million (£1.2 million), to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

Speaking to USA Today, Bono revealed that the Danger Mouse-produced ‘Invisible’ is not the first song to be taken from U2’s new album and that an official single will follow later in the year. “We have another song we’re excited about to kick off the album,” he said. “This is just sort of a sneak preview, to remind people we exist.”
