'Man On The Train' to be premiered at Cannes

U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr is to make his acting debut in a film, starring opposite Donald Sutherland in Man On The Train.

The film, which was directed by Mary McGuckian, will receive its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

It sees the U2 man play a mysterious stranger who arrives in a small town aiming to rob the local bank, reports BBC News. The 2002 original of the film, which was in French, starred Johnny Hallyday. The new version is in English.
