U2 have added a further 33 dates to their VERTIGO 2005 world tour.
Following their upcoming sell-out dates in Europe and America, the band will return to North America in September.
The group will kick off the new leg of dates on September 12 at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre before wrapping up at Portland’s Rose Garden on December 19.
Manager Paul McGuiness confirmed the dates, saying: “We’re really looking forward to this tour, the show looks and sounds fantastic, its going to be a great year.”
Ticket sales for the Vertigo 2005 tour have already exceeded 1.9 million, with the first leg of the US jaunt – due to start in San Diego on March 28 – selling out in hours.
