The U2 man is joining in the guitarist’s birthday celebrations…
BONO is teaming up with veteran blues guitarist BB KING on a new album due later this year.
The U2 frontman, who worked with King on the band’s 1989 hit single ‘When Love Comes To Town’, will be singing with the guitarist for a record of duets which will also include Van Morrison, Elton John and [a][/a], Rolling Stone reports.
The collaborations are just one part of efforts to mark King’s 80th birthday (September 16) this year, which also features the building of a museum and a book dedicated to the guitarist.
U2 meanwhile, are about to begin their world tour in America, with European shows to follow.
