One text message and you could be going...

More than 150,000 tickets for the LONDON LIVE 8 concert are up for grabs in a text message lottery on Monday (June 6).

Music lovers hoping to see the likes of Madonna, U2 and Scissor Sisters must text 84599 with the answer to the following question:

Which city is nearest to the G8 summit in July? A) Berlin, B) Moscow, C) Edinburgh.

All the correct entries will then be entered in a lottery which will allocate pairs of tickets after June 13.The text messages will cost £1.50.

The UK concert, on July 2 in Hyde Park, is one of five gigs being held around the world on the same day to raise the issue of poverty.

Other acts confirmed for the UK concert are Coldplay, Keane and Paul McCartney.

On the same day there will be concerts in Philadelphia, Paris, Berlin and Rome.

The gigs, which are part of the Make Poverty History campaign, come four days before leaders of the world’s richest countries meet in Gleneagles, Scotland, for the G8 summit.
