U2 are hoping to tour Europe in the summer.

Last week, the group were nominated for eight Grammy Awards, and are confirmed to play live at the ceremony at the Los Angeles Staples Center on February 27.

Speaking to the Reuters news service, band manager Paul McGuinness said dates in the summer were a possibility, and that the group were “thrilled and really excited” at their Grammy nominations. However, no shows have yet been confirmed.

The group recently completed their US touring commitments for their ‘All That You Can’t Leave Behind’ album.
