U2‘s BONO has been linked to a nomination for the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE.
The singer has been tireless in his efforts in lobbying Western leaders to eradicate third world debt, while closer to home he’s considered a major influence on the Northern Ireland peace process.
Although nominations aren’t officially released, it has been reported his name appears on a shortlist of 150 nominees this year, including the Pope and French President Jacques Chirac.
