The band will play three arena shows this summer...

U2 have announced the UK dates of their ELEVATION TOUR exclusively to NME.COM.

The band have confirmed dates at Manchester Evening News Arena (August 11), Birmingham NEC (14) and London Earl’s Court (18).

The European leg of the Elevation Tour begins in Copenhagen on July 6 and U2 will play arena shows in 16 European cities, ending with a homecoming gig at Slane Castle, near Dublin (August 25).

Tickets to the UK shows go on sale this Friday (March 9) at 8am and are priced £32.50 to £40 for Birmingham NEC and Manchester MEN and £37.50 to £45 for London Earl’s Court. Tickets for the Slane Castle show go on sale on Saturday (March 10). Slane is an all-day event with support from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, Kelis, JJ72 and Relish and tickets are IR£36.50.
