Underworld bring ‘Barking’ to London for one-off gig

Dance band treat fans to a greatest hits set

Underworld played a one-off gig in London last night (September 17) to celebrate the release of their new album ‘Barking’.

The dance band showcased five tracks from their eighth studio album – ‘Bird 1’, ‘Diamond Jigsaw’, ‘Between Stars’ alongside singles ‘Always Loved A Film’ and ‘Scribble’, footage of which you can watch below.

The rest of the set at the HMV Forum was mainly made up of greatest hits.

Frontman Karl Hyde strapped on a guitar for ‘Two Months Off’ and new song ‘Diamond Jigsaw’ in between mounting a circular dance stage lit up with white lights for ‘Cowgirl’.

The band also played their two Trainspotting anthems ‘Dark & Long (Dark Train)’ and ‘Born Slippy NUXX’, a massive UK hit in 1996.

Signing off with ‘Moaner’, Hyde said: “Thank you for a fantastic night. Me and my brothers thank you.”
