No, they haven't been standing on the end of Platform 4 at King's Cross...
Underworld have teamed up with the people behind the film TRAINSPOTTING once again – this time for a video.
‘Born Slippy’, the track that became a ’90s anthem thanks to Danny Boyle’s 1996 screen adaptation of Irvine Welsh’s novel, has been remixed for the dance duo’s forthcoming compilation, ‘Anthology 1991-2003’, released on November 3.
For the single release, the ‘Trainspotting’ movie has been condensed into just four minutes to form the video to the track.
Boyle commented: “The relationship between Trainspotting and ‘Born Slippy’ has always been a bit chicken and egg – which came first? With such a close bond there between the two it seemed a great but natural idea to combine them. It was a bold experiment that’s resulted in something very different which is a wonderful homage to our original work.”
‘Born Slippy 2003’ is released on JBO on October 27. It comes backed with further new mixes from the band themselves alongside Paul Oakenfold, Atomic Hooligan and London Elektricity.
