Usher’s wife will not be part of new ‘Real Housewives’ series

Tameka Raymond declines invitation to appear on Atlanta-based show

Tameka Raymond, the wife of R&B singer Usher will not be appearing on the second season of the ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’, she has confirmed.

Raymond, who married Usher in 2007, said the producers of the hugely-successful reality show approached her about taking part but that she declined the offer.

“Although [Bravo] approached me, and I was flattered by the offer, I will not be joining the ‘Real Housewives’ cast,” Raymond told Essence.com.

Raymond is a celebrity stylist and runs her own fashion line. She is mother to two young boys called Naveid Ely and Usher Raymond V.
