Last week, the band revealed they had planned to share the songs before the end of February, but had been “convinced by intelligent people to wait a week to get some ducks in a row.”
‘Father Of The Bride’ has also been given a release date of May 3. UK fans will have the first opportunities to hear tracks from the record live later this month when the band play three small shows in London.
Vampire Weekend will play:
21 – London, EartH
22 – London, Islington Assembly Hall (evening show)
23 – London, Islington Assembly Hall (morning show)
Fans who pre-order the new album will be given first access to tickets for the shows from 10am on March 13. They will then be released on general sale at 10am on March 14.
The shows follow the previous confirmation of a Dublin date set to take place this summer. The band will perform at Trinity College on July 1.
Last month, Vampire Weekend shared the colourful video for ‘Harmony Hall’. The clip was directed by Emmett Malloy, who had previously helmed videos for the band’s singles ‘Giving Up The Gun’ and ‘Holiday’.
