Name will be announced on Zane Lowe's radio show and NME.COM from 7pm
The third and final Reading and Leeds Festivals headliner will be announced today (February 24) shortly after 7pm.
The mystery act will join Metallica and Mumford & Sons at the top of the bills for the festivals, which take place from August 28 to 30.
A post on Reading Festival’s Facebook page has a message from the act, which reads: “Yeah, so I just woke up but like, I dunno, I just can’t stop thinking about Reading and Leeds and how much I’m looking forward to playing Reading & Leeds 2015.”
The act behind the quote will be revealed on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show and simultaneously on NME.COM this evening.
Also on the bill this year are Royal Blood, Bastille, Deadmau5 and Catfish & The Bottlemen. Bastille last appeared at Reading and Leeds Festival on the NME/Radio 1 Stage in 2013 while Royal Blood played on the same stage in 2014.
Wolf Alice, Years & Years, Hannah Wants, Jack Garratt and Pretty Vicious are also set to appear, as too are Rebel Sound, the new project from Chase & Status + Rage, David Rodigan and Shy FX.
The Reading and Leeds Festivals 2014 were headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Blink-182, Paramore and Queens Of The Stone Age.
