Rudimental cover Rita Ora and Chris Brown’s ‘Body On Me’ in Radio 1 Live Lounge – watch

Band also recorded live version of new single 'I Will For Love' as Live Lounge Month continues

Rudimental have covered ‘Body On Me’ by Rit Ora and Chris Brown as part of BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge month.

The band were guests on Clara Amfo’s morning show yesterday (September 18) and performed the cover, which can be heard below.

In addition to the Rita Ora cover, Rudimental played their own song ‘I Will For Love’ during the session.

Rudimental are the latest artist to participate in the station’s Live Lounge Month. Florence + The Machine, The Weeknd and Ellie Goulding will all record live sessions with a Live Lounge scheduled daily throughout September.

Earlier this month Wolf Alice covered a One Direction song and Slaves covered Chemical Brothers. Muse also played a lengthier Live Lounge, including a cover of Chvrches song ‘Lies’.

Rudimental release their second album, ‘We The Generation’, on October 2. The album features the band’s latest single ‘Never Let You Go’ and is the follow up to ‘Home’, released in 2013.

‘We The Generation’ will feature guest spots from the late Bobby Womack – one of the last tracks he recorded vocals for – as well as Lianne La Havas, Will Heard and Foy Vance, among others.
