Alabama Shakes and DFA 1979 added to NME Awards Shows with Austin, Texas line-up

Bands will play intimate London gigs in Islington and Brixton in February

Alabama Shakes and DFA 1979 have been added to the list of acts playing NME Awards Shows 2015 with Austin, Texas.

The line-up of gigs, which also includes headline dates from Interpol, The Cribs, Peace and La Roux, will take place at various venues around London in February next year.

Alabama Shakes (above) will headline Islington Assembly Hall on February 19, and DFA 1979 (right) will headline Brixton O2 Academy on February 25. Last week it was announced that Drenge (with The Bohicas and Menace Beach in support), Telegram and LA band Together Pangea will also be part of the series of live gigs in 2015.
