The trio premiered the song last month on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show and have now added an accompanying video that follows group member Kelly Zutrau as she journeys around various locations in the city of Peekskill, New York.
‘Deadwater’ will feature on the band’s forthcoming debut album ‘Don’t You’, which was penned during a period of solitude for the band in a rented house in Western Massachusetts last year. While no release date has been announced, the LP is expected to drop sometime this autumn.
Wet comprises of singer-songwriter Zutrau, and multi-instrumentalists Joe Valle and Marty Sulkow. The group met in 2007 while studying in New York City and after a few years of informal jamming, they began officially making music as Wet during the summer of 2012. Their self-titled debut EP was released in May of last year.
