SOAK announces album release date and unveils new video for ‘Sea Creatures’ – watch

18-year-old singer songwriter will release debut record in June

SOAK has announced details of her debut album and released a new video for track ‘Sea Creatures’.

The album, entitled ‘Before We Forgot How To Dream’, will be released June 1 via Rough Trade.

It will include last year’s singles ‘B a noBody’, ‘Blud’ and ‘Shuvels’. New track ‘Sea Creatures’ – which you can watch below – will also appear on the album.

Following the announcement, 18-year-old SOAK, real name Bridie-Monds Watson, will tour skate parks and gear shops around the UK, before embarking on a headline tour this summer. The singer has also been announced as part of the line-up for this year’s South By SouthWest, Great Escape and Primavera festivals.

SOAK has been performing in her hometown of Derry, Northern Ireland, since she was 14. Her debut single ‘Blud’ was released last year on Chvrches’ record label Goodbye Records.
