Catfish and The Bottlemen join line-up for Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Norwich

Years and Years also join bill for festival in May

Catfish and the Bottlemen and Years & Years have been added to the bill for Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Norwich.

The BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend takes place in Norwich’s Earlham Park on May 23-24. Taylor Swift was previously announced as the Sunday night headliner while Florence + The Machine will also perform.

Joining them on the bill will be Catfish and The Bottleme plus Years & Years (pictured right), who recently achieved their first Number One single with ‘King’.

The full line-up will be announced next month (April) with 50,000 tickets available from next week (March 31). Fans hoping to get a ticket will need to register in advance for one of the 25,000 tickets available for each of the two days.

55 per cent of the tickets will be reserved for people who live in the area covered by Norwich City Council with another 20 per cent reserved for residents with a Norwich (NR) postcode.

Last year’s Big Weekend took place in Glasgow and was headlined by Coldplay and Katy Perry.
