Jamie T has announced an extensive UK tour in support of his forthcoming fourth album ‘Trick’.
‘Trick’, which his label describes as “the kind of brave and eclectic rock/punk/reggae/rap/pop celebration that only Jamie T could make,” will be released on September 2. Shortly afterwards, the singer-songwriter will hit the road for a run of gigs up and down the country.

Meanwhile, legendary band Pixies will tour the UK in November and December.
The shows follow Pixies’ recent one-off gig at London’s O2 Academy Brixton, where they previewed four new songs from their forthcoming album ‘Head Carrier’.
‘Head Carrier’, released on September 30, is Pixies’ first album since 2014’s ‘Indie Cindy’ and their first with former Zwan band member Paz Lenchantin as their official bassist.
Lenchantin began playing with Pixies after The Muffs singer Kim Shattuck lasted five months in 2013 as replacement for original bassist Kim Deal.

A major sporting event, the British Basketball League (BBL) Playoff Finals 2017, will take place at London’s The O2 on May 14.
The cream of BBL and WBBL (Women’s British Basketball League) talent will contest two finals on the same afternoon, in what is regarded as the biggest date in the calendar for UK basketball.

Meanwhile, Irish band Walking on Cars, who topped the charts in their homeland earlier this year with debut album ‘Everything This Way’, have announced a run of UK live shows for this autumn.

The singer-songwriter will preview material from her forthcoming sixth album ‘Familia’ at the intimate Bush Hall venue on September 8.
