Nas has confirmed that he’ll release a new album in 2015.

The Queens rapper last released an album in July 2012 in the form of ‘Life Is Good’. Now, he’s allegedly planning his 12th studio effort for this coming summer.

Since 2012’s ‘Life Is Good’, Nas has featured on tracks by the likes of Jay Z, Madonna, Wiz Khalifa and Schoolboy Q. He also dropped the J Dilla-produced ‘The Season’ last year.

Nas reissued his debut album ‘Illmatic’ in 2014 for its 20th anniversary, it was re-released along with the accompanying ‘Time Is Illmatic’ documentary.

Last week, De La Soul revealed the Nas-featuring track ‘God It’. The song was released as an indicator of the trio’s upcoming eighth album, their first LP in 11 years. That record will feature Damon Albarn, David Byrne, 2 Chainz, Little Dragon and more.
