Four gigs in February will include one curated by independent record labels
Next year’s BRIT Awards will be preceded by a week of official live events, including one curated by independent record labels.
As Music Week reports, the BRITs Week 2015 is part of a three year partnership between the BPI, London First and promoters AEG.
The gigs will take place across London in the week before the BRITs, which takes place this year on February 25. Three of the events will be curated individually by Warner Music UK, Sony Music UK and Universal Music UK with the fourth curated by independent record labels. Line-up details for all four will be announced in due course. One ticket price will apply for all shows and a contribution from all tickets will go to War Child.
The Brit Awards 2015 will take place at London’s O2 Arena on February 25. Earlier this year James Bay was named as the winner of the BRITs Critics Choice award for 2015.
