Reformed proto punk band Death announce new album

The band featured in the acclaimed documentary 'A Band Called Death'

Proto punk band Death have announced the release of an album made up of newly recorded material.

The Detroit band, who featured in the acclaimed 2012 documentary A Band Called Death, will put out ‘NEW’ on April 21. It will feature the song ‘Look At You Life’, which you can listen to below:

The band formed in the 1970s, but it wasn’t until 2009 that an album was finally released, the archival ‘For The Whole World To See’ which was recorded in 1975. It was followed by ‘Spiritual-Mental-Physical’ and ‘Death III’, which were also made up of vintage recordings.

‘NEW’ sees the reformed group – Bobby Hackney, Dannis Hackney and Bobbie Duncan – finishing and recording songs that were first started over 35 years ago, co-written by the late David Hackney, as well a number of brand new tracks.
