Song is first offering from London R&B singer's upcoming 'BadMan' EP
Upcoming R&B singer D/C premieres this new track ‘Beautiful & Fragile’ exclusively on NME.com.
The sleek and slick track is the first offering from the London-based musician’s upcoming ‘BadMan’ EP.
‘Beautiful & Fragile’ was recorded alongside John Legend producer Dave Tozer and features a guest verse from east London rapper Jay Prince.
Speaking to NME, the artist explained: “Nothing ever stays the same. ‘Beautiful & Fragile’ is about trying to appreciate what you had and concentrating on the good things that happened when you look back on your past.”
In a press release, D/C speaks of his plans for the future. “I want to have my own career,” he says.
“There are always going to be ups and downs and weird ways of getting places. But honestly, I just want to be content. I have goals for myself, but ultimately the main thing is to be happy. That’s the main aim in life, isn’t it?”
D/C has recently penned a label deal with Atlantic Records. He plays a debut headline show at London’s Sebright Arms on August 10. Tickets here.
