The winning act will be awarded a slot at this year's Leeds Festival
Modestep have been announced as the judges for the Here To Be Heard‘s competition for new and emerging DJs.
Returning for the third year, Relentless presents Here To Be Heard will once again showcase emerging musical talent. The competition will be judged by one band and one DJ act.
Having already announced that Everything Everything will lead the search for the new bands, London-based electronic group Modestep will now judge budding DJs. The winner of the competition will be given a slot to perform live at Leeds Festival 2015.
Modestep will mentor the five finalists in the final stages of the competition, with the five shortlisted DJs receiving an exclusive masterclass with Point Blank music school. The winner will then be voted by the public.
Modestep member Tony Friend said of the competition: “We’re always on the lookout for new talent and Relentless’ Here To Be Heard Campaign is an amazing platform for upcoming artists to be discovered. We’re looking forward to meeting some of the entrants and helping them along their way as best we can.”
