Actor who plays The Bastard Of Bolton releases album influenced by Super Furry Animals and Oasis

Game Of Thrones actor Iwan Rheon releases his debut album Dinard on April 20.

Rheon, who plays The Bastard Of Bolton in the HBO drama, sings in Welsh on the song Rhodd on his album, which follows his singles Tongue Tied, Changing Times and Bang Bang.

Dinard is produced by Jim Unwin and James Clarke. Rheon said: “I was able to make music the way I wanted, with two great guys and fantastic musicians including my brother Aled, who sings backing vocals on Feel It Coming and shares lead on Rhodd.”

Rheon joined Game Of Thrones in 2013, having previously appeared in Channel 4’s Misfits and will shortly co-star with Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Derek Jacobi in ITV sitcom Vicious. He cites his childhood influences as Oasis, Radiohead, Blur, Super Furry Animals and Manic Street Preachers.

Meanwhile, former Game Of Thrones actor Jacob Anderson, who played Grey Worm, releases new single The Greatest on March 30 under his alias Raleigh Ritchie. The video can be seen above. Ritchie also appeared in the first series of ITV’s Broadchurch before releasing his debut single Stronger Than Ever in 2014.
