Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech uploads Foo Fighters and Coldplay drum tutorials to YouTube – watch

The footballer has jammed with Queen's Roger Taylor in the past

Chelsea footballer Petr Cech has uploaded a series of videos of him drumming along to famous indie songs.

Over the past few weeks, the Czech Republic goalkeeper has launched a new YouTube channel, posting clips of himself covering Foo Fighters‘ ‘Walk’ and ‘Clocks’ by Coldplay.

In the caption for his video, Cech described Foo Fighters as his “favourite band”, saying of the cover: “It is not perfect, but I wanted to do it in one take without correcting it.”

It isn’t the first time the goalkeeper has showcased his music skills, either. In 2013, Cech appeared on BBC’s Football Focus jamming with Queen’s Roger Taylor. He has also performed Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ live in concert.
