South London band Happyness announce new releases after signing to Moshi Moshi records

Band will headline Birthdays on February 4

South London band Happyness have announced the re-release of their debut album in March plus a new single after signing to Moshi Moshi records.

The band, who made NME’s Best Newcomers list in 2014, will also headline London venue Birthdays on February 4 as part of the NME Awards Shows 2015 with Austin, Texas.

An enhanced version of Happyness’ debut album ‘Weird Little Birthdays’, as well as a vinyl version, will be released in spring, preceded by new single ‘A Whole New Shape’. The band said of their new label: “We’re very happy to have been adopted by the Moshi Moshi family and are looking forward to the NME Awards show on February 4 with Nai Harvest. Thanks, peace, love yourself.”

The line-up for the NME Awards Shows 2015 with Austin, Texas includes headline dates from Interpol, The Cribs, Peace and La Roux, will take place at various venues around London in February next year.

The ceremony NME Awards 2015 with Austin, Texas takes place on February 18 at the O2 Academy Brixton, London.
