Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Royal Blood among Brit Awards 2015 winners – see full list

The Brits Awards took place this evening (February 25) at The O2 in London, with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith among the big winners.

Sheeran (pictured right) took away two awards on the night (for British Album of the Year and Best British Male Solo Artist), while Sam Smith won two for British Breakthrough Act and the BRITs Global Success Award.

Meanwhile, Royal Blood were honoured as the Best British Group, Pharrell Williams won International Male Solo Artist and Foo Fighters were named Best International Group.

You can see the full list of winners below. Performances came from Kanye West, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Paloma Faith, Royal Blood, George Ezra and Take That.

Talking points on the night included Madonna falling backwards down the stairs during her performance and Kanye West being repeatedly muted on the TV coverage on ITV during his performance of a new track.
