Honeyblood announce first UK headline tour

The Glaswegian duo will release their eponymous debut album on July 14

Honeyblood have announced their first full UK headline tour.

The Glaswegian duo, made up of singer and guitarist Stina Tweeddale and drummer Shona McVicar, will hit the road in September in support of their debut album ‘Honeyblood’. The record is released on July 14 via Fat Cat Records and was produced by The National and Interpol collaborator Peter Katis at his studio in Connecticut.

The pair have recently supported Courtney Barnett on her sold out UK tour as well as appearing alongside the likes of Real Estate and Angel Olsen. They also performed at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in May. You can watch footage of their performance at the festival by scrolling down to the bottom of the page.

Tickets for Honeyblood’s September tour will go on sale at 10am on Friday June 6.
