The Julie Ruin reveal ‘Goodnight, Goodbye’ video – watch

Super 8 footage accompanies song taken from Kathleen Hanna's band's 2013 album 'Run Fast'

The Julie Ruin have revealed the video for new single ‘Goodnight, Goodbye’. Watch it above.

The band, who are fronted by former Le Tigre and Bikini Kill member Kathleen Hanna, released their debut album ‘Run Fast’ in 2013. ‘Goodnight, Goodbye’ features on the album and now has a video shot by filmmaker Silly Cinnamon.

Hanna wrote a blog post for NME.COM last year in which she discussed the controversy surrounding Default Genders – her musical project with James Brooks – and their song ‘On Fraternity’. The track seemingly imagines the threat of rape on the street from a woman’s perspective.

The Julie Ruin will play a one-off UK live show in London in May when they headline Tufnell Park Dome. Scroll down for ticket details.

The Julie Ruin will play:

Tufnell Park Dome, London (May 22)
