Sub Pop records create their own range of shoes

Sub Pop Records has created its own line of shoes.

The iconic label has partnered with TOMS to create a limited edition plimsoll to celebrate its 25th anniversary. As Consequence of Sound reports, the collection includes the lace-up Paseo shoe in grey for men, and two versions of the slip-on Classic in navy for men and red for women, all with a unique Sub Pop design incorporated into the shoe.

Each pair of shoes bought comes with a Sub Pop sampler, which features rare and new tracks from artists on the label’s roster including Shabazz Palaces, Mudhoney, Father John Misty, Pissed Jeans, Shearwater, King Tuff, and more. For each pair of shoes purchased, TOMS will donate a pair of shoes to a child in need.

Sub Pop will celebrate its silver jubilee with a festival to be held on July 12 and 13 in Seattle. The line-up includes Mudhoney, Greg Dulli, J Mascis and Father John Misty.
