Rapper 2 Chainz wins lawsuit filed by woman he called a “ho”

The woman has now had two lawsuits claiming against 2 Chainz dismissed

Rapper 2 Chainz has won a lawsuit filed by a woman he called a “ho” in a backstage video.

The woman, Christine Chisholm, originally sued because she claimed she lost her job at a barbershop after footage of the rapper calling her “THOT” – an acronym for “That Ho Over There” – went viral. Chisholm told a court that her boss fired her because he feared “negative publicity” from the video.

Her original lawsuit asking for $10 million (£6.8 million) in damages for slander, libel and defamation was dismissed by a judge in North Carolina last December (2015).

The woman then filed a second lawsuit for communicating threats, ethnic intimidation and extortion. She alleged that 2 Chainz’s video for ‘Watch Out’, a track which features the refrain “watch out lil’ bitch”, encouraged strangers to cause her harm. reports that a judge in North Carolina dismissed Chisholm’s second suit on Tuesday (June 21) because she had already filed and lost a lawsuit against the rapper.

2 Chainz released his third album ‘ColleGrove’ in March and saw it debut at Number Four on the US albums chart. He appears on Kanye West’s new track ‘Champions’, which also features Big Sean, Gucci Mane, Desiigner, Quavo, Travi$ Scott and Yo Gotti.
