Isle Of Wight Festival weather update: very warm with sunny spells

Kings Of Leon, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Biffy Clyro will headline annual bash

Music fans attending this weekend’s Isle Of Wight Festival can expect conditions to be very warm with sunny spells forecast on all three days of the event.

The bash at Seaclose Park starts tomorrow (June 13) with performances from Kings of Leon, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Biffy Clyro.

Friday’s weather is forecast to be dry and very warm with good sunny spells at first on Friday, but increasingly cloudy by afternoon with the odd shower possible later in the day, reports BBC Weather. The site will be cooler as sea breezes develop during the day with temperatures set to peak at 23 degrees Celcius.

Isle Of Wight Festival continues on Saturday (June 14) and Sunday (June 15), with conditions set to be cloudy on Saturday with showery rain clearing from the northeast. Bright or sunny intervals and perhaps the odd light shower will follow on Sunday.

Other confirmed acts for the weekend include The Horrors, Deap Vally, The Strypes, Travis, Clean Bandit, The Specials, John Newman, Gorgon City, The Polyphonic Spree, From The Jam, Neon Jungle, Swim Deep and Chlöe Howl.
