Mystery Jets and Pulled Apart By Horses among artists to stage DJ ‘hijack’ at Field Day

The sets comes as part of Transgressive Records 10th birthday celebrations

Mystery Jets and Pulled Apart By Horses will DJ at Field Day in London this weekend as part of a Transgressive Records takeover event.

Artists that have been signed to Transgressive over the past 10 years will DJ across all stages of the festival over the weekend with Leeds quartet Pulled Apart By Horses, Mystery Jets and Dry The River all confirmed to appear.

The ‘hijack’ comes as part of Transgressive Records 10th birthday celebrations. Newly singed acts Theme Park and Thumpers will also feature on the bill. Toby L, one of the founders of Transgressive Records, says: “Field Day has created some of Transgressive’s favourite ever live music memories – including Foals’ first ever festival headline appearance in its second year. When we were mapping out parties, festivals and events for our 10th Anniversary this year, it felt like an obvious choice to present something with the Field Day team.”

Field Day will extend across this weekend (June 7-8) with headline sets from Metronomy and Pixies plus appearances by Drenge, The Horrors, Warpaint and Pond among others.

The confirmed list of Transgressive DJs at Field Day is:

Mystery Jets
Dry the River
Marika Hackman
Becoming Real
Transgressive Sound System

Pulled Apart by Horses
