Midweek chart update: Mr Probz on course for Number One single with debut ‘Waves’

Iggy Azalia set to earn this week's highest new entry in the Official Album Chart

Dutch hip-hop artist Mr Probz is on course for the Number One spot on the Official Singles Chart this week with his debut single ‘Waves’.

The single, which has already made the Top 10 in Belgium, France and The Netherlands, has so far sold nearly 70,000 copies at the midway stage today (April 23) and could sell some 100,000 copies by the weekend.

Current chart topper, ‘Hideaway’ by Kiesza, has slid to Number Two, while Sigma’s ‘Nobody To Love’ is down at Number Three.

US producer and DJ, DJ Cassidy, is new in at Number Four with ‘Calling All Hearts’ FT Robin Thicke and Jessie J, while Cash Cash are set to enter one place behind with ‘Take Me Home’ FT Bebe Rexha.

On the Official Albums Chart, Iggy Azalia is likely to get the highest new entry with her debut LP ‘The New Classic’, which is currently at Number Three. Paolo Nutini’s ‘Caustic Love’ is still in the Number One slot, ahead of The Vamps’ ‘Meet The Vamps’ at Number Two.

John Legend’s ‘Love In The Future’ stays at Number Four, while US band Eels (pictured right) are on track to enter at Five with their eleventh studio album, ‘The Cautionary Tales Of Mark Oliver Everett’.

Other new entries include Kelis‘ ‘Flood’, which is at Number Eight – marking her highest charting album to date after 2004’s ‘tasty’.
