MØ unveils video for ‘Final Song’

It comes ahead of the Danish pop singers forthcoming album

MØ has revealed the video for ‘Final Song’, the track she first premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show last month (May). You can watch it below.

The Danish pop singer – real name Karen Marie Ørsted – co-wrote the track with MNEK, Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ collaborator. When it was first released she outlined details of a world tour as well as slating a follow up to her 2014 album, ‘No Mythologies to Follow’, for later this year. There’s still no further details on the record, but you can see all MØ’s upcoming dates at the bottom of the page.

Speaking about the song when it was first aired, MØ said, “‘Final Song’ is about reconnecting with your inner strength. With your inner glow, passion, spirit animal, whatever—the force that keeps us going and doing what we love. I wrote it with MNEK and Noonie Bao – both of whom I adore – in Los Angeles earlier this year.

“We all need to feel empowered from within to be the best version of ourselves, but it’s not always easy and that’s what inspired me to write these lyrics. When you’re united with your inner glow you can beat the fears and fly towards your dreams.”
